I have an eyeshadow palette addiction and own hundreds of palettes and for the last 2 years have bought only from indie brands because they are so much better than mainstream and luxury brands. So I know good eyeshadow.
I bought this in Boxy Pop Up when it first appeared there and there was no information about it anywhere. I wasn't sure if it was the old or the new formula but I decided to take the chance because of the beautiful greens and the deep dark shades at the bottom.
This palette has honestly blown me away! It's the new formula and I've had it for over a year now and it's a palette I consistently go back to when I want a warm toned look or a specific shade for another look because I like to mix my palettes and/or special shades singles. It's such a well thought out color story! It has all the elements I look for when choosing a great palette. It blends well, it builds well, and it goes from light to very dark, with plenty of different transition shades and midtones so I can get a wide variety of combos for my crease. Because of that, I can get plenty of different looks out of it even though it doesn't have that many shimmer colors. The shimmers are stunning and are also light and midtone so I can build my looks to go from lighter to darker from the inner to outer corner which widens my close set eyes. If I had to pick one thing I'd change about the palette it would be to add a few more of those delicious shimmers, a sage green, an olive, and a lilac for a few pops of color but that's being nitpicky. It's a great palette and it's kept my attention for over a year now and that's coming from someone who strongly prefers cool tones and has new releases coming in all the time. It's definitely stolen my heart! IMHO it's the most underrated palette of both 2021 and 2022. Do yourself a favor and try this hidden gem! You won't regret it!
